A kitschy 61 miles

I walked 61 miles this month. I set this small, rather kitschy goal as a nod to my August birthday and to conclude the mourning period for the collapse of my 60th year grande finale European vacation hijacked by Covid19. My goal-setting bar is pretty low these days, so this little walkabout challenge is aligned with the triviality of my current status.

A New Name for an Old Blog

I gave my blog a name again. I had un-named it during my doctoral program, so it and/or I would look more grown up in the academic world. But I’m a free agent now, so my self-imposed rules have changed. I started a Tumblr account in 2009; Ms Moderation: practicing extreme balance in all things food, fit, and fun as I transitioned out of food marketing into the emerging wellness industry. I wrote a weekly health news column, certified as a health coach, and started a blog. It was a good way to roll into my 50’s.
